- So excited to see that there is a new Knead on Kloof St, in the Life Style Centre. The place is already busy busy busy over breakfast and lunches. Nice, light, open vibe - a huge improvement on the darkish hole they have in Wembley Square. They have an opening R10 special on all coffee shots at the moment and of course, the best bread in Town, by a long way!
- Managed to get a booking @ El Burro in Green Point over the weekend, have been wanting to try this very popular restaurant for ages. Mellow Mexicano? a bit manic actually - very noisy inside (where they do have aircon, t-g) and pretty warm outside on the veranda (on the night we were there). It's all about the decor, the fun waitresses and all the beautiful Cape Town people enjoying the cocktails - lots of blonde babes everywhere. About the food? - mmmm, not so much and no Mojitos! Pity!
