Missed two days this week, apologies - we are back on track!

Busy weekend ahead with a definite wintery nip in the air - Cape Town Jazz Festival (completely sold out weeks ago!), huge Super 15 rugby @ Newlands, Stormer v the Bulls and the hectic Cape Epic finishes this weekend but here are two feel-good suggestions

• The Comedy with a Conscience is on @ the Baxter Theatre on Saturday night @ 20:15, featuring great comedians Marc Lottering, Kurt Schoonraad, Shimmy Isaacs, Anne Hirsch, Marianne Thamm and others - in aid of Rape Crisis.  Tickets are R150, go to www.baxter.co.za

• De Waal Park Concert on Sunday sees Motown-jazz singer, Nomfusi perform along with her six-piece band, The Lucky Charms.  Starts @ 15:00 and it's free!

• You must have seen the latest Google doodle, celebrating the German-born American architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's 126th birthday, today.  The building depicted in the doodle is the Crown Hall at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago that houses its College of Architecture, one of his most famous designs . Beautiful!

• Who would have known that Sting is performing in CT tonight and tomorrow night, at Grandwest?  Very little marketing of this event but for die-hard Sting fans, a must see! Tickets @ www.computicket.co.za starting @ 8pm.
