  • incredible work from a German photographer Michael Wolf, born in Germany and raised in The States, Canada and Europe.  Wolf is best known for his project on Hong Kong's city skyscraper tower-blocks: Architecture of Destiny, where he eliminates "the sky and horizon line to flatten each image and turn these façades into seemingly never-ending abstractions"

  •  "Telegraph reader Marie Weitzel writes: I took this picture in Northern Canada. This is Felix the cat, who is a little bit of a character. Over the last couple of weeks, which was a cold spell, he watched the birds eating from the window. This week the weather warmed up and he decided to put his evil genius to work. He climbs up and just patiently sits and lazily waits for the birds - his lunch - to come to him." - does Felix think he is camouflaged or what? Gingers!

in 2013, Lagos has become the first African city to get it's own version of Monopoly.  On the board, Banana Island (home to Nigeria's super rich) replaces Mayfair and one of the 'Chance' cards reads: "for attempting to bribe a law enforcement agent, pay a fine"

    The rise of digital wills
    image: kingscourttrust

  • digital wills are catching on fast:  "for a fee, a 'digital executor' will amoungst other tasks "tidy up social networking profiles and delete porn accounts after death".....  Interestingly, as the sale of ebooks starts overtaking the sale of the printed versions, this is an aspect of "digital life that cannot be legally transferred after death" - those setting up their cyber wills should note that "digital music and ebook collections, which are licensed for individual use cannot be bequeathed"
