- Perfect Lives by Polly Samson - a series of short stories all linked in some way but each one, a revealing perspective on an individual's personal experience. Great sensitive writing

- The Dinner by Herman Koch (translated from the Dutch by Sam Garrett) - a compulsive, easy, yet uncomfortable read. Found it disturbing/unsettling - not funny at all!
