  • stuck in the office all day?  well order a pair of these Green Grass Flip Flops immediately - at least your feet will feel like they are relaxing in the garden

  • feeling the urge to ask a nice lady out on a date? well today would be a good day for it, apparently.  A study in the journal Social Influence reports that 22,4% of invites were accepted on a sunny day, as opposed to only 13,9% on a cloudy day - you should definitely go for it this week

  • from The Guardian: "Google has acquired an average of one company a week since 2010.  Google's founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, own 16% of the business.  That gives them a combined worth of $46bn"

  • BBC online reports that "the average European man has grown 11cm - roughly four inches - over the past century, according to a new analysis of military recruiting records in 15 countries."
