- That famous Sled Dog Race, the Iditarod Trail is currently being run in Alaska: it started on 4 March with 66 teams of 12 to 16 dogs. Dallas Seavey, who only turned 25 on the day the race started, arrived at the finish line in Nome with his team of nine dogs on Tuesday evening, as this year's winner and the youngest musher ever!
