Greetings

  • Love this quote:  "Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are a good person is like expecting the bull not to attack you because you are a vegetarian."  says Dennis Wholey in The Sun
  • On more or less the same tack..... why do so many young people seem so totally unconcerned about their appearance when it comes to their appeal to potential employers?  Employers are fully aware of the "myth of the authentic self" and the "projection of your chosen appearance" being a "fundamental human right" but they are (or rather, should also be) aware of the other (deliberate) image being portrayed, that of "I don't care" - that's most often the dangerous area employers are not prepared to take a chance on.  Don't the unshaven, hoodies and dental floss skinnies of this world get it?  They obviously still don't care.

cheers
