Hello again - continuing with 'what's in' and the flavour of the month, the trendy set are drinking





  • with their blond or lager type beers: picon biere - a "posh version of snakebite orange-flavoured liqueur bitter"

  •  - with their 'very in' S American traditional fare: a pisco sour cocktail - a combo of "quebranta pisco (a brandy made from the quebranta grape grown in the Inca region of southern Peru), lime, sugar syrup, egg white and bitters"













ps: on our travels in Sicily recently we discovered  almond wine - delicious served ice-cold with a twist of lemon zest - yum!
