Here in CT,  we are well into our third day of gale force winds, with the outlook pretty much the same for the rest of the week - a fitting intro to the Suidoosterfees which officially starts this Tuesday.  Celebrating the festival's 10th anniversary with a truly varied programme throughout the City, the festival is also a tribute to Prof Jakes Gerwel who sadly passed away in Nov 2012

• so (message to self) let's stop whining about the Cape Doctor and get wind/kite surfing instead.  There are loads of second-hand shops selling/renting out decent equipment, all over Town and in the coastal malls - the sun is out so go and give it a try
