• this weekend, "celebrate sauvignon" at the Blues meets Rock Festival at Hillcrest Quarry (Wine Estate) in Durbanville, this Sat & Sun, from 12:30 pm.  Tickets R70 & R60.  Also get more info on the Durbanville Wine Valley Festival at the various other wine farms this weekend and here

• next weekend, it's that lovely red pinotage - POT Cape Town takes place at Diemersfontein Wine Estate on 12 October with live music, chocolate and coffee - gather those friends!
