- not normally keen on installations but this one is amazing!! Choreographer William Forsythe's Scattered Crowd will be on show in The Brockenheimer Depot in Frankfurt next year - "the viewer inhabits and alters, through their stillness or speed, their sense of proportion and time, the configurations that make up this constantly shifting, ecstatic world." Sounds like heaven!

- getting along? well some people just get better and better. Gillian Ayres 82, is exhibiting in a London Gallery until 21 Dec. Her "paintings and prints are as joyful as ever, and her desire to experiment remains undimmed". The catalogue essay notes that Ayres is "probably the finest abstract painter alive in Britain". Fabulous!
